Gdansk-born artist Carl Borromäus Ruthart spent the second part of his life as a monch, and this exhibition fouses on the works he created during his time at the L'Aquilla monastery. It presents 32 paintings, depicting animalistic themes, as well as scenes from the lives of Saint Celestine and Saint Benedict, borrowed from the Nazionale Museo d’Abruzzo.
