National Independence Day Parade


On the 11th of November Poland celebrates Independence Day and a parade is held in all major cities across the country. In Gdansk, people will gather around Podwale Staromiejskie Street from 8.30 a.m., in order to start the parade at 9.30 a.m. The procession of people (many dressed in uniforms and other historical costimes) and various vehicles will move through Podmłyńska Street, Rajska Street, Heweliusza Street, Korzenna Street, Kowalska Street, up to the Jan III Sobieski monument and, finally, Długa Street and the Long Market.

Saturday 11th November, from 9.30 a.m. untill 11.15 a.m.
