The updated permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Gdansk presents those works, which joined the museum's collection during the past 20 years. Most of the featured artists had their debut after 2000. The exhibition provides an overview of the most important occurrences, trends and tendencies in Polish art in the last couple of decades.

The one time during the year when Gdansk’s museums, galleries and other cultural venues open their premises until late night hours and offer various attractions free of charge or for a symbolic fee of 1 or 2 PLN. A guaranteed fun night out for people of all ages. Be prepared for long queues, though.
The first floor of Sztuka Wyboru is again going to fill with unique vintage clothes and accessories. This spring edition of the vintage fair is also a great opportunity to obtain uncommon home decorations and classic design items.
The fith edition of this eco fair in Gdansk. Discover (mainly) Polish manufacturers of natural, organic and vegan cosmetics. Cremes, lotions, peelins, make-up and plenty of other products made by brands representing great mindful philosophies. Several workshops will also be part of the event.

FETA brings together street theatre crews from all over the world, who perform their spectacles in various open-air locations in the Dolne Miasto district (south from the Main Town are of Gdansk). It's held regularly since 1997 and brings theatre art closer to the audience. The spectacles are mostly free and attract people of all ages. The Gdansk Book Fair (Gdańskie Tarki Książki) is the biggest event in the region dedicated to literature. Meet recognized writers and publicists, browse through thousands of captivating book titles (predominantly Polish, but other languages may occur), and take part in discussions. This year’s comprehensive programme focuses on Balkan literature, with authors from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro.
