Italy in Gdansk / Exhibition / National Museum

The 'Italy in Gdansk' exhibition is the first attempt to show the Italian heritage in Gdansk from th 14th until the end of the 18th century, and a result of a 4 year long project of the Gdansk National Museum. Most of the selected objects have never been exhibited yet. They include manuscripts, books, liturgical objects made from Italian fabrics, paintings, drawings, glass artworks and more. read more

Stefan Stankiewicz Exhibition / Museum of Modern Art

Japanese Avant-Garde Art Exhibition / Łaźnia 1

It has been exactly 50 years since Fluorescent Chrysanthemum was presented at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London. Selected works by Japanese avant-garde artists showcased at the time will soon be on display at ŁAŹNIA 1 CCA in Gdańsk, at the exhibition under the extended title Fluorescent Chrysanthemum Remembered. read more

Kazik and Kwartet ProForma Concert / Stary Maneż

Polish artist Kazik, leader of the band Kult, in collaboration with Kwartet ProForma - the only quartet with 5 members, as they like to say. Together they will perform, among other, several lesser known Kazik songs with poetic lyrics. Polish contemporary music at its best. Apart from basic instruments, the qurtet also play double bass, accordeon, mandoline and drums. read more

St Dominic's Fair 2019

Amazingly, this will be already the 759th time the St Dominic's Fair spreads around the Main Town of Gdansk. Stands selling artworks, crafts, jewellery, antiques, as well as clothes, household items, handmade toys and local food products, occupy several streets and squares. During those three weeks there are also many cultural events taking place, such as music concerts and theatre plays. read more
