This park has its origins in the 15th century and is the ultimate place to get close to nature in the middle of the city, relax and recharge your batteries. It's comprised of a beautiful baroque French part, a larger English part imitating wild nature, a botanical garden, a palm house and a garden with alpine plants.
Interesting fact - there are two seashell-shaped cavities fronting each other in one of the alleys and two people standing inside each of them can hear each other's whispers thanks to an acoustic effect.
Oliwa Park is fun to explore with children. The younger ones will especially enjoy feeding the ducks and fishes.
The adjacent Oliwa Cathedral hosts world-famous organs brought to life during year-round special performances and the annual International Organ Music Festival in the summer.
