How to get from the Airport to Gdansk city centre?

PKM metropolitan trains leave from the platform in front of Terminal 2 - direction Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station every 10 - 30 minutes depending on the time of the day (journey time 20 minutes). In Gdańsk Wrzeszcz you can change trains to get to Gdańsk Główny station (Main Train Station) on the same ticket. The SKM trains to Gdańsk Główny leave from platform 3 at the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station.

PKM tickets are sold from ticket machines on the train platform at the Airport.

Public buses also leave outside the Terminal. Line 210 (or line N3 at night) will take you to Gdańsk Główny (city center / Main Town area), line 110 to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz. Those busses have ticket machines installed inside. You can purchase the bus ticket with your credit card. Note: the ticket will not be printed. Instead, the information will be stored on your card. Alternatively, you can buy the tickets from the bus driver (3,80 PLN tickets and cash only).


How to get from Gdansk city centre to the Airport?

From Gdańsk Główny take bus line 210, which leaves in front of the train station, or the SKM train to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station and change there to the PKM train to the Airport.
From Gdańsk Wrzeszcz take bus line 110, which leaves in front of the Wrzeszcz train station, or the direct PKM metropolitan train.

Note: the PKM trains to the Airport may be leaving from platform 1 or platform 2 at the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station, so pay attention to the information on the boards.

How much does it cost to travel between Gdansk city centere and the Airport? Where to buy tickets?

A ticket for the PKM metropolitan train will cost you 3,80 PLN. You can buy it in the ticket machines on the platform, inside the train station or in some kiosks around the station. At the Airport there is only one ticket machine on the platform.
A public bus ticket will cost you 3,20 PLN, if you buy it in a ticket machine or in a press kiosk, or 3,80 PLN, if you buy it from the bus driver. A printed ticket needs to be validated immediately after entering the bus. Tickets sold from ticket machines inside the buses (airport busses only) are not printed. The transaction is read from your credit card in case of a ticket control.

At the airport in Gdansk, Neptun Taxi is the main taxi service provider (phone number +48 58 19686). A taxi journey from the Airport to Gdansk's centre should cost approximately 60-80 PLN, depending on your final destination. It can take from 20 minutes with no traffic up to 60 minutes and more during rush hour.
