FETA brings together street theatre crews from all over the world, who perform their spectacles in various open-air locations in the Dolne Miasto district (south from the Main Town are of Gdansk). It's held regularly since 1997 and brings theatre art closer to the audience. The spectacles are mostly free and attract people of all ages. Globaltica is a unique festival introducing gems of the world music scene since 12 years. International artists and bands, whose music is influenced by ethnic themes, perform for an audience of all ages. This cameral and relaxed festival in Gdynia is also great for families with kids. read more
Amazingly, this will be already the 759th time the St Dominic's Fair spreads around the Main Town of Gdansk. Stands selling artworks, crafts, jewellery, antiques, as well as clothes, household items, handmade toys and local food products, occupy several streets and squares. During those three weeks there are also many cultural events taking place, such as music concerts and theatre plays. read more
The Soundrive Festival promotes young alternative music, while the music styles presented by the bands and artists are very diversified. Three days of exciting musical discoveries, not just for connaisseurs. This year more than 30 acts will perform on the stage of B90 at Ulica Elektryków and other post-industrial venues at the Gdansk Shipyard. Artists will include Bass Astral x Igo, Kero Kero Bonito, Free Games For May, P.Unity, Puma Blue, TOMM¥ €A$H, Let's Eat Grandma, 혁오 HYUKOH, Adi Nowak, Conner Youngblood, Whispering Sons, DJ Seinfeld, Joulie Fox and PYŁ. read more
